This policy is one of a series in the school’s integrated safeguarding portfolio. The school’s safeguarding arrangements are inspected by Ofsted under the judgements for behaviour and safety, and leadership and management.
This document forms part of the safeguarding policy and provides supplementary guidance to take account of the special arrangements required due to the pandemic. The following alterations will be made to the current policy until schools are fully operational.
Ludlow Infant Academy is an inclusive community that aims to support and welcome all pupils. We aim to provide every pupil with equal opportunities in line with our Whole School Equality and Access policy, giving every member of the Academy community an equal opportunity to succeed and achieve. This includes pupils with medical conditions. A medical condition if properly supervised and supported should not limit a pupil’s access to education.
At Ludlow Infant Academy we aim to provide our pupil’s with a broad, balanced and enriched curriculum and see the inclusion of visitors into the school as one of the means of ensuring that we meet this aim.
Ludlow Infant Academy recognises the need to develop a strategy for effective use of the Internet as a tool for learning. It also recognises the need to protect pupils and staff from offensive and dangerous material and acknowledges the need to ensure that all users make responsible use of the Internet.
